There are many types of adaptation devices and conversion systems available around the world and is designed in such a manner that it can be utilized in an 'universal' environment. Since no vehicle is the same in construction and design, installers will often have to create, design and manufacture special parts or bracketing needed to complete installations.

Vehicle models and designs constantly changes as manufacturers expand and better their offerings. Therefore, systems that is designed for a specific vehicle model year will not necessarily fit into the upfollowing year models. In such a scenario, a system will also then be modified and custom fitted as mentioned above.

Periodically customers would require special changes made to a system or vehicle in order to 'better' work towards their own special needs. Through consultation, EZ-Drive will design and manufacture the parts needed to serve the need or requirement. As per example, customizations might include, but is not limited to things like: shaped or extended grips and levers, custom buttons and electronics, modified door latches or other vehicle parts, etc.

This subject is almost never ending. No customer is the same, nor do any person experience the same disability or difficulty. EZ-Drive is eager by nature to accept the challenge to make driving possible for you.

There are many technological advanced systems available to really make your ride so much smoother and/or cooler. Such systems are often overlooked due to high design cost involved. However, everybody eventually settles for the best, because it is so much better.

Having your system setup customized towards your needs can even be different w.r.t long- and short- term use. Think about this...

One example would be that one person can have two vehicles for instance. One for everyday work travel, and another for camping or racing on weekends. It would be fair to assume that one vehicle would need replacement before the other. Therefore, spending will vary.

A system setup is a series or combination of systems installed in one vehicle in order to complete the final project. A custom setup refers to the arrangement and layout of all the systems installed in that vehicle.

Customized systems refers to stand-alone devices, which is modified or adapted to fit your specific needs w.r.t that specific control.

Custom designs is where a system is designed from scratch to fit your unique needs. For more info, see the "System Development" page.

Both customization methods may or may not affect your vehicle's warranty.

Let's clear one fact first. Only the direct effect of that specific system or setup may result on the infringement of the warranty of that specific area or part of the vehicle.

Example: It would not be fair to install hand controls connected to the pedals of the vehicle and the manufacturer does not want to warrant a headlight failure because of the hand controls.

In the contrary, should for example an electronic accelerator be installed , and found that the elctronics altered with was the cause for the wiring loom to burn or melt, it would not be fair to expect the manufacturer to warrant such failure. However, this does not mean that the the rest of the vehicle is not warranted.

Having said that, it is important to mention that not all installations result in affecting a specific area or part of the vehicle in terms of warranties. Almost all systems installed can be more classified as 'add-on devices'. Alterations or modifications to the vehicle original design is very seldomly required or needed.

Any system designed for you by EZ-Drive will carry a 12 month workmanship warranty by default. Should any of our stock standard systems be modified by us, we will warrant that too.

Should customization of any non-EZ-Drive systems be needed, again specific aspects like mentioned above will apply. Since the majority off systems is designed to be utilized in an universal environment, manufacturers know and expect some changes to the systems will have to be made.

However, when changes are made to main components or assemblies of the system itself, infringement of the warranty might occur. Rest assured, EZ-Drive's system specialist will discuss any possible warranty infringements with you during the consultation process of the project.
